behind the scenes

What's In a Name?

My husband, Will, is an art teacher — and watching him show up for his students every day, even on the hardest days, taught me something about grace, rest, and pouring from an empty cup. That's part of why CoRo exists. Not just for teachers. For anyone giving everything to everyone else and forgetting to fill themselves back up first.

The meaning behind CoRo & Company's name is deep:

💙 Cocyese is my middle name and Romedis is my mom's middle name

💜 Acronym for Chosen. Overcomer. Renewed. On Purpose.

🩷 From a money mindset to serving others, God renamed the business for His people

💛 I dabble in many skills, not boxed into one type

🧡 We craft our items by hand and at home

about the artist

Heyyy, I'm Nik!

I quit my job on April 24, 2017, and officially became a business owner on December 5, 2020. Then I had life-saving weight loss surgery on December 22, 2020, survived a near-fatal car accident with my husband and son on January 3, 2021, and three weeks later, right after my birthday, I got so sick I almost didn't make it. I rebranded my business on my wedding anniversary, July 15, 2024, after losing what I thought was everything.

Journaling is what got me through it. Not therapy I couldn't afford. Not a quick fix. Just a pen, a page, and the truth I was finally ready to tell myself. That's the tool I built this entire brand around.

Through grief, uncertainty, and the daily lessons of raising a brilliant son with Autism, I learned how to show up for myself — and now I teach others how to do the same.

I've always been a creative at heart. At 5 years old, I was already designing, encouraging, and dreaming big. My background spans everything from modeling, HR, health & wellness, event planning, and graphic design, and I use every skill I've learned to serve my community with excellence.

Today, I’m a:

  • Wife, mother, and Autism advocate
  • Host of 2 podcasts: The Haus of CoRo, where we get real about healing, purpose, and becoming; and The Self-Love Sermons, a 5-minute faith-fueled reset for your spirit, mindset, and purpose
  • Author of three guided journals
  • Founder of the I Choose Me Summit, a global empowerment event that champions self-love, wellness, and community

Whether it’s through a journal, an episode, a sweatshirt, or a prayer, my mission is to remind you:

You matter. Your healing matters. Your dreams are worth it.

Because if you don’t put yourself first, you can’t pour into anyone else.
