OUR TIMELINE SO FAR...
2018: Originally named The Faithful Craftess
2019: Closed our doors for mental renovation
2020: Reborn as CoRo Nailz for e-commerce and social media
2021: Took a break due to overwhelmingness
2022: Registered the business as Cocyese x Romedis (CoRo) LLC & started a Podcast
2023: Started selling locally in stores and Wholesale
2024: Added DBA CoRo & Company
2025: Created another Podcast
Currently based in Newport News & Farmville, VA

The name CoRo has many meanings:
💙 The Co stands for Cocyese, my middle name, and Ro stands for Romedis, my mother's middle name
💜 CoRo is an acronym for Chosen. Overcomer. Renewed. On Purpose.
🩷 The name CoRo was given to me from God when He convicted me for having the wrong mindset as a business owner
💛 The & Company means that I'm multi-talented and I refuse to be put into a box to niche down

Hi! I’m Nik!
I'm a wife, mom to two amazing kids (including my brilliant son with Autism and my daughter), and the heart behind CoRo & Company. When I'm not designing something beautiful or recording a podcast episode, you'll find me journaling with my morning coffee, cheering on my kids, or planning the next way to pour into this incredible community we've built together.
I'm a self-taught graphic designer of nearly 35 years. I attended Virginia Union and Liberty University with a focus on Mathematics and Computer Science. My background spans from human resources, health & wellness, event planning, and modeling, and I use every skill I’ve learned to serve my community with excellence.
I quit the workforce on April 24, 2017, and decided to live my dream out loud on December 5, 2020. After surviving some pretty intense life moments (we're talking weight loss surgery, a near-fatal car accident, and completely rebuilding my business from scratch), I discovered that our healing and growth happen when we show up authentically for ourselves first.
Fun Facts about Nik
💙 My favorite color is... well, I don't have one! I consider my color being the rainbow because I just love color. But my favorite print is Leopard!
💜 I'm an athlete! I played tennis all through high school and college, and won third place in the Playoffs for my high school when I was 18.
🩷 I've been an entrepreneur since the age of 5. My first business was a lemonade stand with my cousin.
💛 My husband and I were DESTINED to meet each other! Both of our families have intertwined with each other throughout history since the 1970s!
🧡 Faith has always been the anchor that helped me navigate life and business challenges. My relationship with God has shaped the way I build relationships with others, makes decisions, and inspires me to make a positive impact in this world.
