I'm so glad you're here! I know that you're looking for a challenge to keep you motivated this month, and I've got just the thing.

My 30 day nail art challenge is going to help you be your best self. It's easy to get caught up in the day-to-day of life and lose sight of what matters most. But when you have a goal, when you have something to work towards? You can't help but feel like anything is possible. And that's what this challenge is all about: giving yourself something amazing to look forward to and then having fun along the way. So let's get started!

What is the 30 Day Nail Art Challenge?

The 30 Day Nail Art Challenge is all about nail art! It’s a mini challenge that encourages you to try a new nail look every day. The themes are broken up into three blocks: colors, styles, and "inspired by." The original intent of the challenge is to post one nail art look per day but then my intent became bigger: to make myself become a better nail artist and have some fun in the process.

Can anyone participate?

Yes! If you are new to nail art, or have always wanted to try but didn’t know where to start, this is for you. Every day of the month we’ll be posting a different craft or technique that you can do in the comfort of your own home.

When does it start?

The Challenge will start September 1st.

Will this be hard to do?

Honestly, I feel like it would be hard! But, that’s ok, as this will give me an opportunity to step my nail game up and take my nail designs to another level. I love challenges and this will give us a chance to see how far we can go out the box with the nail designs.

Can I do it at a slower pace?

You sure can! If you don't feel comfortable or don't have time to do it every day, feel free to do every other day or weekly. For me, I plan to complete this in the 30 days I’m giving myself. You choose how you want to go about doing this challenge and have fun with it!

Do I need a blog?

Not at all! You don't need a blog to participate. You can play along via social networks like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest. Just be sure to hashtag your work with #30DNAC22.

Do I have to do nail art?

No. However, keep in mind that the #30DNAC22 can be a great opportunity to hone your nail art skills and really push your boundaries. I try to use the challenge as a springboard every year to get me to try new things and really advance my nail art.

Will my nails get damaged from changing my polish so frequently?

I've done this challenge for the first time last year, and my nails have never shown any signs of trouble. If you are worried about your nail health, try non-acetone remover or fortified acetone, and always remember to moisturize your nails afterwards with cuticle cream or cuticle oil. You can also use press on nails to practice your nail designs on.

Are there prizes involved?

Finishers will be awarded a badge they can display to show that they successfully completed the 30 Day Challenge!

I don't own that many nail polishes.

Don't worry—I've got you covered.

First, don't think of it as "owning" colors. Think of it as "exploring" colors. You might want to start by just going down the aisle at your local drugstore and picking up a few different bottles or tubes. If you like what you get, keep them and use them for this challenge. If not, throw them out when you're done with the challenge and go back for more! Try not to get too hung up on whether or not a color is "the right one" for your nails; just pick something that feels fun and interesting, even if it's not exactly what you had in mind at first blush.
